Artists Statement

On a Sunday morning 25 years ago I saw a couple (husband and wife) arguing in their yard. In the middle of yelling, she jumped on her horse in only her bra and underwear and took off. Bareback and without anything else. He was left demanding she return but she was gone.

This body of work was motivated by various memories of these events.
