Haida Now: A Visual Feast of Innovation and Tradition

In 2018, Propellor worked with the Museum of Vancouver to design Haida Now, an exhibition featuring the MOV's unparalleled collection of Haida art. More than 450 works are displayed, dating back to the late nineteenth century. The exhibit dives deeply into the Haida worldview and sensibility with the help of local Haida artists who provide insights and knowledge about this important collection of artworks. Haida Now also explores contemporary Haida art making as well as the role museums can play in the reconciliation movement.
