Curated and designed by Propellor, Swell was an annual survey of the state of eco-design which investigated emerging approaches to sustainable design taken by leading local and international designers. Each year 30 innovative works including fashion, furniture, housewares and transportation were exhibited in a busy downtown Vancouver Gallery. This well attended exhibit clearly communicated the principles of sustainable design to thousands of Vancouverites, engaging them in this important conversation around the production and consumption of a more sustainable material culture.
